The world of professional wrestling is typically viewed as intimidating due to the amount of testosterone oozing from the screen, sometimes every week. However, longtime fans know that it is also as dramatic and flashy as it can be. You got the soap opera drama-filled storylines, the insane gear, and of course, the dreamy leading man.

Only, in professional wrestling, these hunky men don’t ride horses, wear capes and tailored suits, or bring flowers. Instead, they range from wearing skimpy spandex and wrist tapes to carrying shiny, big gold belts. But don’t you worry, like a knight in shining armor, they come home broken and bruised for you to kiss their scars away. They also occasionally ride horses, though. 

1. Jack Perry

If there’s anything professional wrestling can offer, it’s that there’s something for everybody. If you’re into an actual Tarzan man who grew up in a jungle with no shavers, or if you prefer The Beast before he became the prince, Jack Perry may be the one for you. 

Jungle Boy is the moniker he holds in the squared circle, and affectionately nicknamed as ‘The People’s Princess’ among fans (or his fans, wherever they may be). Although this may be the first time you’ve heard of the 28-year-old AEW star, you may be familiar with his father, American actor Luke Perry. Still, this nepo-baby has proven to fans that he doesn’t need the connection to get into the industry.

2. Swerve Strickland

If you like Prince Charming with a little bit of edge, who may or may not drink his enemies' blood, and later have a will-they-won’t-they tension with that same mortal enemy, Mr. Swerve Strickland may be the man you should add to the romance section of your vision board. 

The 35-year-old's insane body transformation also came with a far edgier character that boosted him to the top at the World Championship picture. This AEW star could protect your honor, your pride, all the while sweet-talking you to sleep. He would 100% look good in a suit, but why put him in one in the first place?

3. Kota Ibushi

Looks like a cinnamon roll, could actually kill you. Kota Ibushi has an interesting description, to say the least. This man’s eyes definitely sparkle, and he would look at everything like it’s his first time on Earth, but in his uniform? Regarded as one of the best IWGP Champions, one of the hardest hitters in the sport, and looks like he hasn’t had a cheat day since he was like 14.

Fittingly nicknamed ‘The Golden Star’, the 43-year-old looks good in the ring, in a suit, and even in a wedding dress. You won’t have to worry about any girl bestfriends lurking, but he does have a tag team partner who has previously noted that if gay marriage were legal in Japan, he would’ve probably married the AEW star already. His partner’s name is Kenny Omega, btw, also a fine specimen of a man.

4. Hook

We covered people in a few age ranges, backgrounds, and vibes. However, one area we have yet to hit is the city- boy lovers, the ones you will see in the airport and instantly fall in love with, but can’t do anything about. The people who want the guys whose closet only consists of hoodies and sweats, the one who has exactly 2 posts on social media. All boxes checked? You may be a Hook girlie.

Real name Tyler Senerchia, he gained the moniker as ‘The Cold Handsome Devil’ for a reason. The 28-year-old doesn’t need to say much, but would still usually get the point across, – another point for those who hate it when men produce a sound. Still, if there’s anything Hook has shown during his stay in AEW, it’s that he’s extremely loyal, sometimes to a fault.

5. Finn Balor

The final entry in this list is one that many in professional wrestling can agree is one of the most underrated people in WWE in recent years, ‘The Prince’ himself, Finn Balor. 

The 44-year-old is an Irish-stud who definitely looks like he was born with abs. Although he is playing a villainous character on television, this man dominated Wattpad in the mid-2010s due to his love for LEGOs and gentle nature. This man can truly do it all;, be the prince, be the princess, and be the demon, though only appearing very occasionally.
